I was just wondering about your rocking horse. That’s so sad. I once spent weeks making raised planters out of foam, adhesive, screws and plaster only to watch the bottoms fall out when I added dirt and plants. My husband just sat there and laughed. Totally failed project and I was going to blog about it and everything. But you’re right, I learned to plaster and my dad is a plasterer and I’ve always been in to woodworking but this allowed him to teach me something and spend time together and was so worth the failed experiment. I’m not gonna give up yet though! I’m thinking next time I make it out of wood then glue foam on that and line the wood with plastic.
