Easy and Affordable Teacher Appreciation Gifts!

Now that my daughter’s back in school full-time, I’m so SO thankful that I know that her teachers love and care for her.  It’s been SUCH a relief not having that stressor now that I’m back to work!

To say my thanks, I wanted to create a present that meaningfully shared my appreciation with each teacher.  But, given my schedule, needed to create something that was easy to personalize.

When I saw the softcover journals from Snapfish, I knew I was in luck!

This post was sponsored by Snapfish, and I’m so excited to share with you why I love the company and how easy it is to make a gorgeous and affordable custom gift!

To make your own version of this gift, follow the tutorial below using the count code CRAFTY40.  Yep, 40% off sitewide through the end of 2018.  (You know I’m ALL ABOUT the discount codes.)

Step 1: Download the Printable Right Here

I created this pretty artwork to use on the cover of the journals.  It’s a chalkboard design with a heart-shaped quote.  The quote reads:

The warmth of a teachers love grows seeds into flowers

Step 2: Upload Your Image to Snapfish

Okay, now that you have the print, you’ll want to head over to Snapfish.  I chose the softcover journal because it’s thick, but still small enough to tuck in a pocketbook.  I carry journals like this with me ALL. THE. TIME.  Anyone else?

Now you’ll want to upload your image.  It’s really easy to upload an image from your computer or even social media accounts.  Easy peasy!

I’ve formatted the printable so it’ll fit perfectly on the journal.  See how it looks uploaded?

Step 3: Customize and Embellish Your Teacher Appreciation Gift

Okay, now the fun part.  And be warned: it’s so fun, you could kinda lose yourself doing it!  I did.

You can add text to personalize the journal.  I loved the font options, which says a lot since I’m a fontaholic and have literally thousands of fonts on my computer.  #sorrynotsorry

The embellishment section is SO. MUCH. FUN.  There are heaps and heaps and buckets upon buckets of embellishments.

I ended up really loving the pressed flower collection, which had flowers, torn paper, washi tape, and other cute bits and pieces.  The color palette works beautifully with the chalkboard art!

I really had no rhyme or reason for how I added the embellishments.  I kinda just moved everything around until I liked how it looked.  The interface is drag and drop and really easy to use.  Plus, you can layer objects easily, too, so the embellishments look kinda stacked on top of each other.

I love that each teacher has a similar journal but they’re all a little different, you know?

I seriously cannot wait to give the journals to them!  What embellishments would you use??

I really love that Snapfish allows me to easily customize presents to make keepsakes that are personal and unique.  Plus, the products are budget-friendly and look fantastic!

Let’s Wrap it Up!

Pretty much every parent knows how important it is to have a great relationship with your kids’ teachers!  And, I’m so so lucky that my daughters being loved on while I’m back at work!
